What is the difference between nitrile gloves and PVC gloves?
1. Different materials
Nitrile gloves are made of 100% nitrile rubber, while nitrile rubber is made of butadiene and acrylonitrile through lotion polymerization.
PVC gloves are made primarily from polyvinyl chloride.
2. Different characteristics
Nitrile gloves do not contain proteins, amino compounds, or other harmful substances, and are not prone to allergies. They have the characteristics of puncture resistance, oil resistance, and solubility resistance. The surface is treated with a hemp like texture, which can prevent things from slipping off during use.
PVC gloves have low ion content and are resistant to weak acids and bases, with good flexibility and tactile sensation.
3. Different functions
Nitrile gloves: Nitrile gloves synthesized from acrylonitrile and butadiene, which do not contain protein, can effectively prevent workers from developing protein allergies and skin allergies caused by powder. Nitrile gloves also have puncture resistance, oil resistance, and solvent resistance. In addition, the surface of the gloves is treated with a hemp like texture, which effectively prevents workers from slipping when using gloves to grip equipment. The high tensile strength also prevents workers from tearing when wearing nitrile gloves.
PVC gloves: The main material used to make these gloves is polyvinyl chloride, which has low ion content, good flexibility and tactile sensation, and is resistant to weak acids and bases.
4. Different uses
Nitrile gloves: This type of glove is mostly used in industries such as medical, pharmaceutical, hygiene, beauty and hairdressing, and food processing.
PVC gloves: suitable for clean rooms, hard disk manufacturing, precision optics, optical electronics, LCD/DVD liquid crystal manufacturing, biomedicine, precision instruments, PCB printing and other industries. Widely used for labor protection and household hygiene in industries such as hygiene inspection, food industry, chemical industry, electronics industry, pharmaceutical industry, paint and coating industry, printing and dyeing industry, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, etc.
